There are places to go and activities to engage in here in Zebulon.

The Zebulon Community Library holds wonderful events to promote early literacy and reading comprehension. Bring your children to Toddler Storytime, Preschool Storytime, Family Storytime, Reading Buddies, K-5th Adventures, and See Spot Read throughout the week for learning and fun! For a library catalog, book club information, and more event details visit their website.

The Zebulon Community Center is always busy! If you want to play basketball or play games with your family, but the weather isn’t cooperating, head over to the community center on Mondays from 4-5:30pm for Family Gym Time! The community center also offers Open Gym Time for 14-18 year-olds every Wednesday from 4:00pm – 5:30pm. There is always a supervisor on duty. For more information about Gym Times and other events at the community center, visit their website.

Whether you’re looking for athletic fields, playgrounds, walking trails, or shelters to rent for a birthday party, Zebulon’s many beautiful parks have what you need! Little River Park is filled with history and beautiful scenery while Zebulon Community Park is home to a championship disc golf course! Plan some fun outdoor activities with the family. To find the park best suited to your needs, visit the parks and recreation website.

Zebulon also has a very active faith community with lots of family-friendly activities. Here is just a small sampling of what our local churches offer.
