This year was to be our 14th annual 5k in Zebulon. Small town charm abounds in this community activity, which typically falls on the same day as the Zebulon Farm Fresh Market kickoff! With plenty of visibility for our sponsor’s the event is well-attended by runners hoping to win a home-baked cake.
Other events at Maydays in Zebulon are the Steel Magnolia’s Garden Club Plant Sale, Food Trucks, and a visit by Muddy the Mudcat, mascot of the Carolina Mudcats, usually found at the Five County Stadium. It’s a great day to celebrate all Zebulon has to offer.
While we’ve had to cancel this year’s incredible event, we look forward to what next year holds for this celebration.
